Hi Mark, how are you adapting to life in lockdown?
Full-time writers are finding this easier than most, as we’ve spent our whole careers in the house, usually in one room.
The only real difference is that everyone else is doing it too now, and I used to have this place to myself!
Can you offer any advice to our readers to help maintain positive mental health at this time?
Watch as much TV and read as many books as you possibly can.
Fiction was created as a diversion from hard times and stories told around the campfire to get us through the next day.
We’re lucky enough now to have an infinite amount of world-class material streamed into our homes every night so enjoy it, guilt-free.
You don’t need to learn Chinese or get perfect abs in isolation – just enjoying it as much as we can is the secret.
Finally, what book, podcast, boxset or activity have you discovered over the past few weeks that you would like to share with our readers?
I got into Game of Thrones ten years after everybody else and just binged it a few weeks back. It’s probably the best TV show ever made. More recently I’d recommend Succession.
