Partnering with Driving Mobility, a nationwide charity supported by the Department for Transport, ShopMobility UK has been rebranded and modernised in a bid to allow more engagement with consumers.

Providing mobility equipment that can be hired out to the public, ShopMobility UK is a nationwide network of centres. The new website, launched today (22 June 2021) provides a new platform for members to investigate and enquire about manual wheelchairs, powerchairs and mobility scooters.

The website also allows for centres across the UK to share updates and learn from other scheme members.

“It has been exciting times for service users and scheme members since we evolved from The National Federation of ShopMobility (NFSUK),” commented Edward Trewhella, Driving Mobility CEO.

“Now known as ShopMobility UK, we are delighted to see renewed enthusiasm from our scheme members as they embrace change and work closely with our dedicated national coordinator.

“The new streamlined website perfectly reflects our rejuvenated approach and I would encourage all with an interest in accessibility and personal mobility, to engage with us and share our news.”

Anyone of any age can use their local ShopMobility UK centre, the rebranding and partnership with Driving Mobility will ensure that even more people have access to the vital products and services on offer.
