New job for 2019 with Microsoft’s upcoming disability hiring event

One of the leading computer giants, Microsoft will be running a Disability Hiring Event in Reading on Wednesday 23 January, to recruit top disabled talent.

Now, the exciting opportunity to join Microsoft is possible at the upcoming Disability Hiring Event, which will see the company recruit disabled talent into their Support Engineer roles in their UK Customer Service and Support (CSS) organisation.

In the CSS sector, Microsoft is dedicated to empowering, helping, and advising Microsoft customers. This is done by engaging with the Microsoft community and customers, collaborating all knowledge and experiences, and innovating solution to ensure all customers can make the most out of their Microsoft products. 

EVENT

During the disability Hiring Event several interviews will be conducted with the opportunity to meet and network with hiring managers and teams; you will also have the chance to learn why Microsoft is the right company for you to work for. 

Similarly, participants will be able to interact with members of the Microsoft Disability ERG to learn more about their experiences working with the company.

If you have a passion for problem solving and customer satisfaction, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. Having a passion for IT, IT infrastructure, and desire to work in IT customer support will see you in good stead for the event.

Qualifications in IT are not essential, but they are desirable, alongside any Microsoft certifications (MCP / MCSE / MCSA / Azure etc). However, it is important to know that Microsoft are looking primarily for passion, potential and an attitude that can be developed.

THE ROLE

The Microsoft team is located across the UK and worldwide, speaking many languages, with employees from a variety of cultural backgrounds. Now, the team is expanding and you can get involved thanks to the Disability Hiring Event. 

The role will include flexible working hours, the ability to work from home, but you will be contractually based in Reading.
