Motoring: The UK’s specialist WAV show returns this May

This May, the Brotherwood WAV Show is back after four years, returning to Haynes Motor Museum. Attendees will get the chance to explore and test drive WAVs, discuss their need with expert consultants and have a free WAV Health Check on-site.

Brotherwood, the UK’s Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle specialists, have announced that their exclusive annual event, The Brotherwood WAV Show, will return on Friday 19 and Saturday 20 May 2023.

Hosted at Haynes Motor Museum in Sparkford, Somerset, The Brotherwood WAV Show gives wheelchair users and their families, carers, Occupational Therapists, Community Transport providers and local authority representatives the opportunity to explore and test drive a wide range of vehicles converted for wheelchair access in one place. Class leading conversions for models including Mercedes-Benz, Toyota, Vauxhall and more – plus first looks at new launches from brands including Volkswagen and Ford – will all be available for demonstration.

Brotherwood’s team of expert mobility consultants will also be on hand to guide visitors through the available choices and demonstrate how to safely and correctly use important features such as restraint systems and wheelchair anchor points.

Owners of Brotherwood-converted WAVs will even be able to pre-book a free WAV Health Check. While the owners enjoy the exhibition, one of the convertor’s expert engineers will perform a free multipoint vehicle conversion inspection, to ensure that its most critical functions are working at optimal performance and safety.

The mobility event takes place at the prestigious Haynes Motor Museum in Sparkford, Somerset. Housed within 17 exhibition areas, the Museum’s vast collection of veteran, vintage and classic cars and bikes offers a fascinating window into motoring history, with everything from classic, sports and historic cars as well as interactive displays and special Formula 1 car exhibits including a new Williams F1 display.

The Museum is also highly-rated for its’ disabled facilities and wheelchair-friendly layout, making it the perfect venue for Brotherwood to host their annual spectacle, and welcome their visitors to enjoy complimentary access to the UK’s largest collection of cars and motorbikes.

Tickets for the Brotherwood WAV Show 2023 are free, simply register at the Brotherwood website or call 0330 1747 555 to reserve your place.
