Windsor Great Park Illuminated returns this winter, transforming ancient woodland into a vibrant wonderland of light, sound and colour

Running from 14 November 2025 to 3 January 2026, the trail celebrates its fifth year with a completely new design, featuring fresh installations alongside reimagined favourites such as the Field of Light and the much-loved lasers.
Far from the manicured gardens of other attractions, Windsor Great Park Illuminated offers an immersive and natural experience, inviting visitors to wander beneath glowing canopies, sparkling fountains and atmospheric woodland scenes. The trail is dog-friendly, so four-legged friends can join in the festive fun too.
A highlight for 2025 is the introduction of Low Sensory Sessions on Tuesday 25 November. Designed for visitors who may find the full trail overwhelming, this special evening features gentler lighting, softened music and reduced capacity, providing more space and calm. Pathways remain clearly lit while the intensity of the features is lowered, creating a more comfortable environment. This thoughtful addition ensures more people can enjoy the event.

Along the route, guests can pause to toast marshmallows, sip mulled wine, or enjoy hearty seasonal food beneath the stars. Once again, the popular Windsor Tavern returns, offering a cosy stop to soak up the atmosphere. Windsor Great Park Illuminated continues to shine as one of the UK’s most enchanting light trails, magical, inclusive and welcoming to all, making the trail not just an evening out but a memory-making tradition.
