A leading care company has unveiled a range of new services for Scarborough residents and visitors.

For the past 12 years, SureCare has provided thousands of people in the North Yorkshire town with personal care services and support.

But the company is now branching out into other areas including home care services, babysitting and mobile crèches in order to meet customer demand.

Gill Johnson, Manager of SureCare in Scarborough, said: “We have always offered a domestic service to our clients, but we have now employed a professional handyman to carry out DIY jobs such as moving furniture, changing light bulbs and fixing curtain poles.

“We are also now able to offer a babysitting service and mobile crèches. We are filling a gap in the market for both local residents and for the large number of visitors who come to the town for holidays, weddings, conferences and other big events.

“There is no other company like SureCare offering such a comprehensive range of support services in Scarborough or anywhere else in the UK. Clients also have peace of mind knowing that all SureCare employees are Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) and reference checked.

“We are excited about rolling out these new services and meeting the varied needs of local people and visitors to our town.”

The SureCare office is on the Scarborough Business Park in Eastfield.

The company, which was founded in 1994, operates three branches and 27 franchises across England and is looking to double the number of franchises in the next couple of years.
