Raise awareness of spinal cord injury by eating #Chips4Charity this May

spinalinjuries#The Spinal Injuries Association have had support from two Hollyoaks actors to encourage people to eat fish and chips to help raise awareness of spinal cord injury on the national awareness day.

Daisy Wood-Davis and Ayden Callaghan can be seen in a number of short fun video clips talking about spinal cord injury and how people can raise awareness on 20 May by taking part in the Spinal Injuries Association’s Great British Fish and Chip Suppers.

Daisy and Ayden first became involved with the Spinal Injuries Association in 2015 whilst researching for a Hollyoaks storyline. The actors, who both also have a personal connection to spinal cord injury, stayed in touch with the charity and were happy to help them raise awareness of the cause and their biggest community fundraising event, on Spinal Cord Injuries Awareness Day.

Anyone can take part in the Spinal Injuries Association’s Great British Fish and Chip Suppers! All you need to do is to  get together with friends, family or colleagues for a fish and chip treat and do a bit of fundraising by asking for a donation or holding a quiz or raffle.
