Hereward College receive Outstanding Award

Hereward College have been awarded Outstanding in the InspireEducation Employability Award.

InspireEducation (part of the Inspire2Exceed Group) are an expert provider in Careers Education and Employability Services, working together with colleges to develop their programmes. The Employability award is presented to colleges who successfully meet their assessment criteria.

With an increased focus on life after study, Hereward have significantly developed their Employability service, recognised by InspireEducation for their outstanding efforts to increase working opportunities for students studying at the college.

Motivated by their success, students are planning an enterprise event, called Inspire, which will be held at the college on March 24th. Local businesses are being invited to visit Hereward as guest speakers and work alongside the students, offering tips and advice to support them in their future employment. They will also be providing opportunities for students to attend work experience and placements within their business.

In addition to local businesses, the Chamber of Commerce and their members will also be invited to Hereward.

Hereward College is a general further education college located in Tile Hill Lane, Coventry, providing both day and residential places. The college welcomes all learners including those with diverse and complex support requirements.
