This weekend The Big Event will arrive in Birmingham with a host of new additions to the line-up. The free to attend event at the NEC is the Mobility Scheme’s flagship show, taking place on Friday 6 and Saturday 7 July.
The event will be hosted at the NEC in Birmingham for the first time. The largest Mobility Scheme event of the summer, it will showcase the widest display of vehicles available to lease through the scheme.
The venue will also offer a play area for younger guests complete with bouncy castle.
WAV Taster Experiences
Exclusive to The Big Event Birmingham, passenger Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle (WAV) taster experiences will be available. Visitors who wish to trail the specially adapted vehicles can experience an on-the-road test drive as a passenger.
This year there will be an even wider range of cars and adaptations for customers to try during a test drive. 17 adapted test drive cards will be available at the event, all accompanied by a professional driving instructor to assist and advise.
For the first time ever the even will welcome a range of guest speakers, between 10am and 3:30pm expert speakers will join the line-up. Guests will be able to attend several talks to find out more about the Mobility Scheme including top tips for visiting a dealer, more information on WAVs and adaptations and speakers from Driving Mobility, DMUK and Transport Focus.
