The Hexhog is a unique off road vehicle developed originally as a university project to allow a person with a disability to get out and about in the countryside and basically reach places that have never been accessible before. At the same time the Hexhog is designed to inspire confidence in the individual and built with safety in mind.
It is run on lithium–ion batteries, has independent suspension on each of the 6 wheels and has a flexible chassis. These two features allow the Hexhog to be amazingly stable over rough terrain and obstacles. This Electrically controlled vehicle takes minimum effort to drive as it uses the same type of joystick found on electric wheelchairs. It is surprisingly quiet for this type of off road vehicle of given the size and power of the Hexhog.
The Hexhog has the option of a seat that lowers to the front of the vehicle to allow easy transfer from an everyday wheelchair. Da Vinci will be displaying the Hexhog for the first time at Naidex Stand C60.
Get out and about in the countryside reach places you have only dreamed about, bring adventure and excitement to your life and pursue your dreams.
This is an ideal vehicle for Outdoor Activity Centres, farms and any other open area with access permission. See the HEXHOG in action on Youtube.
