Start the New Year with a new cycle challenge for disability charity

Papworth David Martin cycle challengeIf your New Year resolutions include getting fit or raising money for charity this year, local disability charity Papworth Trust has the perfect fitness fundraiser for you. It is looking for people to take on a new cycling challenge which covers over 300 miles in 4 days.

The challenge will take place on 9-12 July 2015 and covers a new route from stunning Welsh countryside to the beautiful Suffolk coast. Cyclists will start at Papworth Trust’s Kerry Farm in Wales going through the Welsh countryside, over the border and into the English countryside, calling at historic cities and towns along the way. It will end at the Trust’s Waveney Centre, at the traditional seaside resort of Lowestoft on the east coast.

By taking part, the sponsored cyclists will be helping to support the wide range of essential services the Trust provides to disabled and older people throughout the eastern region and beyond.

Trust’s Fundraising Manager Jacqueline Cameron says,

“We are looking for people who are up for taking on an amazing challenge, meeting likeminded people, and cycling through some of England’s most beautiful countryside.

“If you’re looking for a cycling challenge with a difference then this cycle challenge is for you. All funds raised by the cyclists will help us to be able to provide essential support for disabled and older people. Join us and make a real difference to people’s lives.”
