The exhibition has been created by  Ingrid Sterling. Her husband’s son, Richard, is disabled and is supported by Scope.  He is her inspiration for organising this one-off fundraising event in aid of the charity.

Ingrid says:  “Richard has the most phenomenal sense of humour and is the happiest young man I know.

“But life can be tough for families with disabled children.  They face a lot of additional challenges and can find it hard to get the right support.

“We hope the money raised by this exhibition will help Scope be there for more families when they are needed most.”

Richard Hawkes, Chief Executive of disability charity Scope said:

“This exhibition is a fantastic opportunity for art lovers to buy high quality sculptures at affordable prices and at the same time help us to provide support, advice and information to more than a quarter of a million disabled children, adults and their family members every year.”
