The Jump star Kadeena Cox and comedian Adam Hills are calling on Everyday Superheroes looking to unveil their sporting superpowers and sign up to the Celebrity Superhero Tri! Applicants have only until 28thFebruary to win a place in the Celebrity Superhero Tri and compete alongside some of the nation’s favourite celebrities and Paralympians in a fun-fuelled triathlon. The competition is part of the Superhero Series and is open to all those with who are looking for a challenge.
Twelve Super Celebrities have been announced so far, including the Jump’s Kadeena Cox, The Last Leg comedian Adam Hills, and Paralympic gold medallists Sophie Christiansen, Megan Giglia, Ali Jawad and Anne Dickins. Many more Celebrity Superheroes are being unmasked in the coming months. All you need to do to win a place is head to superheroseries.co.uk and say in your own words why you should be picked for a Superhero Team and which stage of the tri (run, cycle, swim) you would like to do. Winners will get to take part in this unique event alongside their Celebrity Team Captain and many decorated Paralympians.
Big, bold and gutsy, the Superhero Tri takes place on 19 August at Dorney Lake and is the first event in the only sports series dedicated to the UK’s 12 million people with disabilities and long-term injuries – the Everyday Superhero. Twenty celebrity Team Captains will be completing one stage of the Celebrity Superhero Tri relay (150m swim, 3k bike, 1k push/rush).
