A former NHS consultant has joined not-for-profit learning disability and autism support provider Dimensions as the organisation’s Commercial Director.
Paul Jobson began the role on January 6th and he brings a wealth of experience from both the private and public sectors to the position. Dimensions has created the new role of Commercial Director on the Senior Management Team to provide a stronger focus upon business growth and strategy.
In his most recent role, Paul worked as a consultant at NHS Barnet PCT and Barnet Clinical Commissioning Group. He previously held director and chief executive positions at private health and social care companies.
Paul said: “The social care sector is under increasing pressure at present. I am looking forward to being part of the Senior Management Team at a time when we all need to ensure that Dimensions remains innovative and dedicated to delivering personalised services.
“Specifically, the challenge of identifying and developing opportunities to retain existing services and ensuring a commercial approach is adopted. I am passionate about the work that Dimensions does in order for people have choice and control over their support.”
Dimensions supports about 3,000 people with learning disabilities and autism across England and Wales.
